Cigarettes Smoking Pattern in Patient with Urothelial Carcinoma of the Bladder after Smoking Cessation in Tertiary Hospital

Background: Urothelial carcinoma is the most widely recognized histologic type of bladder cancer. Smoking duration and intensity associated with tumour aggressiveness recurrence. This study aims to examine smoking behavioural change in patients urothelial who were given an intervention for cessation. Methods: A cross-sectional (2009 – 2019) was conducted. Subjects divided into three groups: had smoked <20 cigarettes per day ≤30 years; 31–40 years or >20 >40 years. General characteristics, educational level quit levels are noted. These data obtained from medical record anamnesis by telephone. Result: total 325 cancer between 2009-2019 involved. 273 (84%) male, aged 58.71 ± 12.8 40.9% a history years, 66.5% did not at all. There significant difference cessation rates groups different intensities (p = 0.000).
